Bail Granted to Yoshitha (UPDATE)

Yoshitha  has been granted bail after appearing before the Mount Lavinia Magistrate over a case filed regarding a property and house in Mihindu Mawatha, Dehiwala. He was ordered released on three personal bails of Rs 1 million each.

House Construction by Yositha Through Money laudering

A case was filed in Mount Lavinia District Court  against Yositha  Rajapaksa, son of former President for  construction of  a  house  at Dehiwala through money laundering.The case was taken up in court on the 16th of May,  where Yoshitha Rajapaksa has failed to appear before court.His attorneys informed court that Rajapaksa did not receive summons to appear before court.
Accordingly summons was issued to Yoshitha Rajapaksa to appear before court today.Yoshitha Rajapaksa will appear before court on summons issued by Additional Magistrate of Mount Lavinia Praharsha Ranasinghe.
