Gammanpila Not Granted Permission to Attend Parliament
UPFA Colombo District Parliamentarian and Pivithuru Hela Urumaya leader Udaya Gammanpila has been arrested by special investigation unit on 18th June 2016 and remanded till 1st July 2016.
In the meantime he has applied to the Court to Grant him permission to attend Parliamentary proceedings. The Fort Magistrate Lanka Jayalathne said that he was not in a position to Grant such permission because of the recent circular issued by the Judicial Service Commission.
