Who Will be the Next CB Governor ? Eran Wickramarathna Or Samarasiri

Provided President Maithripala Sirisena and Prime Minister Ranil Wickramasinghe will  decide the selection of a new Governor of the Central Bank. there is widespread speculation that either  Eran Wickramaratne or  Deputy Governor of Central Bank P.Samarasiri will be appointed. Dy. Minister Eran Wickramaratne,  who held a top position in the banking sector before entering politics will be selected as the  new Governor of the Central Bank, sources said.If he happened  to be selected  as the new governor of the Central Bank,  he will have to step down from his Parliamentary seat and the deputy ministerial portfolio.
