New direct flight from Delhi to Colombo

Commencing a new era in aviation and travel between India and Sri Lanka, Indian Government owned Air-India Launched a new flight from Delhi to Sri Lanka.

The new flight heralded a new non-stop service between the countries.

From Wednesday onwards direct flights from Kolkata to Colombo will commence. The Sri Lankan low cost air service Mihin Lanka will operate a thrice a week from Netaji Subhas Chandra Airport.

The new service will cut down travel time between the capitals by nearly 3 hours and will also provide a much better service at a very reasonable price.

Mihin Lanka flight from Delhi to Colombo cost roughly around 15,500 rupees as opposed to 26,000-27,000 rupees charged by other operators.
