Sujeewa Senasinghe to COPE

MP M.  Velukumar Kumar resigned from the COPE  on Wednesday citing his busy schedule. He is a member of several other parliamentary committees.

State Minister, Sujeewa Senasinghe has been appointed as a member of the Committee on Public Enterprises to fill the vacant post following the resignation of COPE member, MP M Velu Kumar  belongs to United National Party , which was announced in Parliament by Speaker of House Karu Jayasuriya today.

He said he arrived at the decision taking into consideration COPE’s increasing workload and rapid pace of developments.
