Sri Lanka’s Former Ambassador to Russia Udayanga Weeratunga has been issued notice by the Colombo, Fort Magistrate’s Court today, in connection with investigations into large scale fraud in the purchase of four MIG-27 aircraft for the Sri Lanka Air Force. He is currently overseas.
