Over 8000 Vacancies in Public Service

Several surveys  were  conducted in the public service to ascertain  the vacancies in public service. The Government has  identified  8,388 vacancies exist in the public service  at present.

Furthermore the government has decided to compile a list of   graduates,  who are currently employed in the Government service.

Accordingly a committee  headed by the Secretary of the Ministry of Public Administration and Management will be appointed soon and  course of action to be  taken will be decided under the recommendations of the Committee.
