Lasantha Wick’s Driver Identifies Army Sergeant Who Abducted Him.

Lasantha Wickremetunge, former Editor-in-Chief of the Sunday Leader was murdered on his way to work on January 8, 2009. An army sergeant was arrested recently in connection with the murder of Lasantha Wickrematunga.

The driver of Lasantha Wickrematunge identified the army sergeant arrested recently, as the one who abducted him several days after Wickrematunge’s murder.

He was identified by the diver at an identification parade held yesterday  at the Mount Lavinia courts .
