Yala National Park Temporarily Closed From 1st September 2016

The Yala National Park will be closed for tourists from September 1 till October 15, said  Wildlife Conservation Department.

The Yala National park will be closed down for the development of infrastructure, and to allow the flora and  fauna to continue in their natural habitual patterns, without an interruption.

Further, the department sources  said to close down the park annually during this period for the aforementioned reasons.
