Vijaya Nandasiri was a popular stage, tele drama and film actor. In later stages he became a famous comedian.
He played a role in Naribena, Jasaya saha Lenchina made by veteran drama producer Dayananda Gunawardena. Later he played King Maname’s role in Maname by Sarathchandra. Nandasiri passed away a short while ago at Colombo South Teaching Hospital. He was 72 years of age at the time of his death .
