Former CSN CEO Nishantha Ranatunga was arrested with four others on January 30 on alleged money laundering at CSN. The other four suspects, including Yoshitha Rajapaksa, were released on bail on March 14. Ranatunga filed a separate bail application and was released on March 16.
Through a motion, he requested court that he has to leave for the UAE for a conference from September 30 to October 2 and his passport was required for obtaining visa. The High Court reserved the order on the request for tomorrow.
