Sujani Bogollagama, a suspect in a court case against MP Namal Rajapaksa, who owns NR Consultancy (Pvt.) Ltd. and its directors. Sujani is the CEO of the company, registered as a legal consultancy firm under Company registration no PV 83718 on 16 January 2012. The address given at the time of company registration is at 15/1, Lake Drive, Subhutipura, Battaramulla, which is owned by her, but the company has functioned from 07, Gower Street, Colombo 05.
Despite a notification for Sujani to be present at police to give a statement over massive irregularities at the company , she has evaded it by getting admitted, first to a Colombo private hospital and later to the National Hospital.
A UNP minister is reportedly giving political protection to Sujani. However, the Court reported to have ordered her immediate arrest.
