Weather Forecast For 27th August 2016

Fairly strong wind (up to 50-60kmph) is expected to continue over the Southern province and Central hills of the island.

Several spells of showers will occur in the Western, Sabaragamuwa Central and North-western provinces and in the Jaffna, Mannar, Galle and Matara districts.

Showers or thundershowers will occur at several places elsewhereafter 2.00 p.m.

There may be temporary localized strong winds during thundershowers. General public is kindly requested to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by lightning activity.
