An Indian 1.4 Kg heroin Carrier Arrested at BIA

 An Indian  businessman aged  31-years  old man carrying 1. 4 kg heroin  was nabbed at the Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA)  while coming from Chennai  yesterday.  Indian man was arrested  by the Police Narcotic Bureau officers .

 Value of this heroin is   Rs.10 million.

The suspect was produced in the Negombo Magistrate’s Court yesterday. The Magistrate had ordered to detain the suspect for seven days and hand him over to the PNB to conduct further investigations. –
