Weather Forecast for 18th September 2016

Fairly strong wind at times (up to 50kmph) is expected to continue over the Southern and North-central provinces.

Light showers will occur at several places in the Western, Sabaragamuwa and Central provinces, and in the Galle district.

Thundershowers may occur at a few places in the Uva province and in the Batticaloa and Ampara districts after 2.00 p.m.

Mainly fair weather will continue elsewhere.

There may be temporary localized strong winds during thundershowers. General public is kindly requested to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by lightning activity.
