Not Possible to Hold LG Election This Year- Deshapriya

 Election Commissioner,  Mahinda Deshapriya said,  that  even if the Delimitation Commission has completed its work, it is not possible to hold Local Government Elections this year.

Further he said,  that  the delimitation’s gazette notification was issued it takes about three months to hold the election.
