Wimal Weerawansa at FCID

United People’s Freedom Alliance Parliamentarian,  Wimal Weerawansa has been summoned before the Police Financial Crimes Investigation Division (FCID)  today(26) .

Weerawansa  is being questioned in connection with  discrepancies reported during his term as Minister of Engineering Services, Housing & common Amenities.

He  had notified the FCID through his attorneys of his failure to be present the previous time he was summoned before the Division.   Accordingly he was instructed to appear before the FCID this morning.
