Srilankan Fashion Models Taken for a Ride by a Prominent Politician?

Story goes like this. A sister of a well-known artist, who has close relationship with a politician had taken five Srilankan Models to a show abroad promising them a fee of Rs.1million each for their performance. They blindly believed because the assurance was given by the politician. Politician concerned had pocketed the entire money obtained from organizers of the show, leaving the five fashion Models high and dry.
