An Individual Arrested With 100kg of Kerala Ganja

An individual has been arrested while transporting around 100 kilograms of ‘Kerala Ganja’ in a van under the guise of transporting bananas in Vavuniya.  Police stopped and searched the van only to discover the cannabis hidden under the bananas.

 The 30-year-old driver of the vehicle was arrested and is to be produced at the Vavuniya Magistrate’s Court today (4).  Further investigation carried out  by  Vavuniya Police.
