SL Army Celebrates 67th Anniversary Today

 Sri Lanka Army celebrates it’s 67th Anniversary today (10).
Began as ‘Ceylon Army’ in 1949, and later changed as the Sri Lanka Army after the country became a Republic in 1972, Sri Lanka Army has sacrificed  about 25,000 lives  of its  forces  in  protecting the territorial integrity and sovereignty of our motherland and ushering in an era of peace in  the country.
Today’s   67th  Army  Anniversary celebration  at  Panagoda is  chaired  by  Army Commander Lt. Gen. Krishantha De Silva.
