Sudden Death of a Youth in Wimal’s Hokandara Home

A 24-year-old  youth ,  Lahiru Dissanayake  is said to be a close friend of former Minister Wimal’s son reported to have arrived at the house  and stayed in the upstairs along with his son on 25^th night . As he has not got up in the morning, he was taken to the hospital  by the MP’s wife Shashi Weerawansa, where he was pronounced dead.

He frequently visits the Weerawansa’s residence in Hokandara, to meet his friend  .

On a complaint made to  Talangama Police in this  connection , a statement has reportedly been recorded from Mrs Weerawansa.
