Jaffna University Students Meets President , PM & Sampanthan Today

On assurance given by  the  Minister of Prisons Reforms, Rehabilitation, Resettlement and Hindu Religious Affairs D. M. Swaminathan to demonstrating Jaffna University students yesterday,  that he would arrange a meeting with the visiting  President Maithripala Sirisena, they abandoned their protest demonstration. Followed by this, a meeting has been arranged  with the President Maithripala Sirisena, Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe and Opposition Leader R Sampanthan today at 12.30 pm in Jaffna.

At this meeting,  problems including untimely death of two Jaffna Uni . students  and other issues  confronted by them  will be discussed.
