The low level atmospheric disturbance in the Bay of Bengal has intensified in to a depression.

Hence, showery weather and cloudy skies can be expected to continue at most parts of the island. Heavy falls (more than 100mm) can be expected at some places, (particularly in the Southern, Central, Western and Sabaragamuwa provinces) until 07^th November.

Misty conditions can be expected at some places in Western, Sabaragamuwa, Central and Southern provinces during the morning.

There may be temporary localized strong winds during thundershowers. General public is kindly requested to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by lightning activity.
