The Minister of Transport and Civil Aviation, Nimal Siripala De Silva after consulting the officials and people concerned, in the best interest of public took a decision to deploy Civil Security personnel at the unprotected railway crossings across the country .

The Railway Crossings Association (RCA) asserts challenges this decision.
