Former Minister MP Wimal Weerawansa and Former Inspector General of Police Mahinda Balasuriya have been summoned to the Presidential Commission of Inquiry today (4).
A group including former officials of the National Housing Development Authority and former and current MPs of the National Freedom Front have also been summoned to the Commission.
The investigations were launched in connection with a Rs 30 million financial discrepancy pertaining to the sale of houses and shops under the National Housing Development Authority.
The group will also be questioned in connection with the misuse of state funds amounting to 40 million rupees.
