Master Minds of Massive ATM Robbery Arrested

Four persons  including  a foreign returned man  were arrested in Vavuniya in connecti0n with   a large scale ATM robbery, police said.

The modus  operative  adapted by them is that the suspects set up cameras in ATMs and note down numbers.  Followed  by this,  they prepared forged  ATM cards with the numbers recorded and drew money from ATMs. Million of rupees had been  drown from ATMs in this manner. Police  kept a trap and caught all of them. Suspects are from Wellawatte, Vavuniya and Trincomalee areas.
