Speaker’s Chair Occupied by an Engineer

After Parliament was adjourned on Wednesday (16), an Engineer who is a member of the parliament staff had sat on the Speaker’s chair , alleged UNP MP Ranjith Aluwihare.

He had complained this matter to the Speaker .

Speaker Karu Jayasuriya today instructed the General Secretary of Parliament to look into this matter. Hence, a probe is on now.
