A School Student Assaulted: Bail Granted 4 Suspects

A certain group had assaulted a school student  in front of Dharmaraja College on 21^st November 2016.

Video footage showing the assault has been published on social websites.

The victim was a  13 year old  school student studying at the Dharmaraja College.

The Kandy police had arrested 4 suspects involved in the incident last afternoon on suspicion in connection with the assault on an Advance Level student from Dharmaraja College in Kandy.  In the meantime they  were released on police bail yesterday(23).

Kandy Police said that they were released after both parties met at the police station and settled the matter.
