Rice Price on the Increase

Rice prices  in the market  is in increasing trend. The Hector Kobbekaduwa Agrarian, Research and Training Institute confirms  that price of rice have been increased in the market.

A  kilogram of Nadu rice has been increased by 7 rupees while a kilogram of samba has been increased by 3 rupees.
When the government’s buffer stocks are released to market from early December,  prices are expected to  come down
