Attack On Police Superintendent WP Councilor Jagath Kumara Granted Bail

On  29^th November 2016 Western Provincial Councilor Jagath Kumara assaulted a police superintendent during a protest launched by Samurdhi Officers at Polduwa Junction, Battaramulla near the Parliament.

He was  charged    for obstructing   the duties   and   assaulting  a police superintendent.

He  surrendered  to the court today . He was later released on a Rs. 500, 000 surety bail by Colombo Additional Magistrate Chandana Kalansooriya.
