In Death Threat Case Nishantha Released With a Warning

On complaint made  by the then Cricket Chairman of the Colombo District during the SLC election last year , that  he was threatened  with death by the former Secretary of Sri Lanka Cricket Nishantha Ranatunga,  charges were filed against him.

When the case was taken up for hearing at the Colombo Chief Magistrates Court  today  , both parties informed the court  that they have reached a settlement.  Hence,  Colombo Chief Magistrates Court has  released  Nishantha Ranatunga with a stern warning.
