Delimitation Report to Provincial Council Ministry &PM

Local Government and Provincial Councils Minister Faizer Mustapha has under taken a religious  pilgrimage ‘’ Umrah ‘’ to Mecca . When contacted  the press , he said  that he has made arrangement  with the Ministry Secretary  to accept  the delimitation report and  take steps to gazette it .   Accordingly the Chairman of  Delimitation Committee is handing over  the report to the Secretary of Local Government and Provincial Councils  today.

In the meantime , the Delimitation Committee has asked for a date from the Prime Minister to hand over its report.

The Premier has informed the Committee that he give them a date soon to hand over the report.

As all the other party leaders are also keen to discuss the findings and recommendations in the report, the date will be set when the Parliament opens sessions early next year.
