Holiday for Northern Province Schools on 13th

Northern Province Education Ministry Secretary  Raveendran  has  said , that all schools  coming under Northern Provincial Council  will be closed on  13^th January 2017. This decision was taken after considering  the Poyaday  holiday on 12^th  and Thaipongal holiday on 14^th . In order to facilitate  students and teachers to prepare for  thaipongal  13^th was declared as a holiday. To cover studies and syllabus ,   schools in the North will function on  21^st Saturday 2016
