SAITM CEO Shooting Police Commenced Investigation

Two individuals with full face helmets travelling on a motorcycle opened fire at the car driven by SAITM CEO Dr. Sameera Senarathne at around 8.15 last night(6).

Dr. Senarathne survived the incident with no injuries. However, the windscreen of his vehicle was damaged as a result.

Two special Police teams have been appointed to investigate the shooting at the Chief Executive Officer of the Malabe South Asian Institute of Technology and Medicine Dr. Sameera Senarathne.

It has been revealed that Police are currently conducting investigations at the scene.
