No Bail to Wimal

National Freedom Front Parliamentarian Wimal Weerawansa arrested and remanded on charges of misusing state vehicles. Charges have been levelled against him  for allegedly distributing 40 state vehicles to his relatives and friends during his term as Minister of Housing and Common Amenities during the previous tenure of the United People’s Freedom Alliance led government.

He  was produced before the Colombo Fort Magistrate’s Court once again today and  he is further remanded  till  20^th February 2017 .
