SAITM Beyond the Control of SLMC – SB

Minister S.B Dissanayake  during a gathering held in Rikillagaskada  said, that the  South Asian Institute of Technology and Medicine (SAITM) was established  after arriving at a unanimous decision by the medical deans in the country,   which was supported by the University Grants Commissions as well.

Hence, he claimed that the Sri Lanka Medical Council (SLMC) will not be allowed to take any action against SAITM  to hinder the functioning of it.
