Changes in Salary Payment of the Public Officers ?

Joint Federation from the Government Officers Union Chief Secretary Thilagaratna said, that there is a move to change the method followed in paying salary of the public servants . Normally salary is paid monthly on 20^th or 25^th  of  each month. But according to the proposed  scheme,  basic salary will be paid on this  date and other payments  will be affected on the 5^th or 10^th of a month. This is not a good news  for the public servants , he concluded.
