Shooting in Mawathagama, Kurunegala

A businessman was  shot dead in Mawathagama, Kurunegala.Two persons who arrived on a motorbike had opened fire at the businessman. The incident was reported around 10:20 last night when the individual was travelling in a cab.

The businessman succumbed after being admitted to the Kurunegala Hospital for treatment. The 66 year old is a resident of Thalgaspitiya. No suspects have been arrested yet.
