LTTE Weapons Reaching into the Hands of Criminal Elements: Champika

Megapolis and Western Development Minister Patali Champika Ranawaka said yesterday,  that there were reports of weapons  retained  by the LTTE are being sold to criminal elements and political groups at will in the South. weapons  used  to fire at  Kalutara   prison bus  reported to have been  obtained from LTTE .

 Further he said,  these weapons  retained by them  after the war are being sold to underworld criminals.  But we understand that these weapons are  falling into the hands of politically motivated groups as well .
