Weather Forecast For 28th March 2017

A slight change in prevailing dry weather can be expected from today.

Showers or thundershowers will occur over most provinces,Particularly in the Western, Sabaragamuwa, Central, Uva and Southern provinces, after 2.00p.m.

Fairly heavy falls (more than 50 mm) can be expected at some places in the Sabaragamuwa and Southern provinces.

A few morning showers also can be expected in the coastal area of the Eastern province and the Hambantota district.

There may be temporary localized strong winds during thundershowers. General public is kindly requested to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by lightning activity.
