Opening of 50 More CWE Branches Today

On guidance  given by the President Maithripala Sirisena with the participation of the  Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe,  50 more CWE (Sathosa) branches are being opened today(28).

The President and   Prime Minister accepted  the invitation extended by the Ministry of Industry and Commerce,Rishad  Bathiudeen  and participating in opening the branch at Kohuwala today.

Rishad had proved  his mettle by converting  loss incurring CWE (Sathosa) into a profitable venture. With his wise direction, now the CWE (Sathosa) is competing with supermarkets and provide essential standard goods at fair prices without any shortages.  On his direction already steps have been taken to computerize  all CWE branches . The Chairman  CWE, D.M.K.P Tennakone  said, that Rishad’s  right direction in the right time made us capable of competing with other market forces and made profit. This achievement  cannot be underestimated.325 CWE (Sathosa) branches have been opened island wide, he concluded.
