Ruhuna University’s Two Faculties Closed

Two faculties of the University of Ruhuna have been temporarily closed due to the spread of a viral fever.

The decision to temporarily close the faculties was arrived at based on medical advice received upon admitting a group of students residing in hostels who contracted the fever.

Accordingly the Faculty of Agriculture and the Faculty of Technical Sciences were shut until further notice.
