Pivithuru Hela Urumaya leader Udaya Gammanpila has called for President Maithripala Sirisena to hold a national economic summit to find solutions to the economic difficulties faced by Srilanka.
Further he said the economic summit should be held with the participation of businessmen, political leaders, academics and other intellectuals capable of taking the country forward.
In this connection his party had already initiated conversation within the Joint Opposition and would give such a national summit it’s fullest support.
