Three Provincial Council Elections on Proportional Representation System – Mustapha

 The period of office of the North Central , Eastern  and Sabragamuwa  Provincial Councils  will expire in September 2017. The Government  intends  to conduct elections for these three Provincial Councils  before   submission of annual budget in parliament. Elections for Provincial Councils will be conducted on proportional  representation  system , said  Local Government and Provincial Council Minister  Faizer Mustapha.
