No Disciplinary Action Against SLFP Members – SB

Minister S.B. Dissanayake yesterday appealed to the SLFP Leadership not to take disciplinary action against the SLFP MPs,  who attended the Joint Opposition rally at Galle Face on May Day.

 He said, that  still they are  SLFP members and  there were positive chances of revamping the fragmented Party which was evidenced by the massive crowds that thronged the meetings.

He pointed out that there was no need to take disciplinary action against those members , who defected to the JO meeting at Galle Face, adding that they could also accept the present leadership, rejoin the party and work for the development of the Party and the country.
