A Unit in the Forming by Minister Sarath Fonseka

Minister Field Marshal Sarath Fonseka had discussions with the board of the Ministers  held  yesterday .

In the Minister’s  board meeting  it was decided  to appoint a committee to take final decision in establishing a unit. Special attention was given  to views expressed  by various political figures in political platforms regarding the matter.

President Maithripala Sirisena has insisted  that  there should  not be  any erosion of trade union rights by this unit.

Further he  said, that this Unit is not established to provide a position to any individual, but  this will be a step to make public’s life more comfortable .
