Is Dayasiri to be Appointed as Additional Cabinet Spokesman?

President Maithripala Sirisena has requested   UPFA General Secretary Minister Mahinda Amaraweera and SLFP Senior Vice President Minister Anura Priyadarshana Yapa to nominate a suitable candidate for  the  post of additional  Cabinet spokesman.

When called  for proposal  no one has come forward to accept this post.  In the meantime Sports Minister Dayasiri Jayasekera ’s name had been proposed by both Amaraweera and Yapa.  But Jayasekera’s name has not yet been submitted for the President’s approval.
