IUSF Protest 8 Remanded

The Inter University Students Federation  had protested despite the court order against the action, had tried to cause a states of public distress by attempting to attack the police officers on duty at the time.

Eight individuals  had been acting unlawfully during the IUSF protests, held yesterday (17), have been arrested. The students have been remanded till  tomorrow  (19).

The arrested include seven university students and one Buddhist monk, studying at the university.
