Bail Granted to IUSF Lahiru & Six Others

Convener of the Inter-University Student’s  Federation, Lahiru Weerasekara and six others  were issued arrest warrant  for ignoring a court order and failing to appear in court.

They  surrendered to the court today (31) through an attorney.  Colombo Chief Magistrate Lal Ranasinghe Bandara granted  on a cash bail worth Rs. 2500 each and released with a warning  that if they failed to appear before the court again, their  bail would be cancelled.
