Schools Reopening Decision Today

Earlier Ministry of  Education made the decision to close down schools in eight districts  up to today (2).

Minister of Education  Akila Viraaj Kaariyawasam said,  yesterday that he is in the process of collecting data of schools affected by flood and landslide  and obtain certificate of quality assurance  for the buildings  to consider reopening. After careful study of these reports, a decision will be taken regarding re opening today.
